Bleeth was born in New York City, the daughter of Carina, a model, and Philip Bleeth, a business proprietor. Her father Philip is of Russian-Jewish and German-Jewish descent, and her mother Carina was of Algerian descent. Yasmine Bleeth was born on June 14, 1968 at New York. She began her acting career when she was only six months old. She appeared in the Johnson & Johnson baby ‘No More Tears’ shampoo commercial. When she was six years old she ultimately caught the eye of fashion photographer, Francesco Scavullo when she appeared in a Max Factor campaign. She began her acting career at the age of 12 years when Yasmine featured in a film ‘Hey Babe’ which also starred Buddy Hackett.

Yasmine continued with both the modeling and acting career while attending the United Nations International School in New York. By that time she was well experienced in the acting field. When Yasmine was 16 years old she began acting in the soap opera ‘Ryan’s Hope’. She continued this role for four years before she made her appearance for yet another soap ‘One Life To Live’. But Yasmine, is probably well known for ‘Baywatch’ where she played a famous role of Caroline Holden which began in the year 1994. In 1995 she became one of the People magazine’s 50 most beautiful people during her three year successful run on the ‘Baywatch’ show. Her role in Baywatch got her new fans and worldwide fame. Yasmine was also offered roles in made for TV movies including ‘The Lake’, ‘Ultimate Betrayal’, ‘Road Rage’, and ‘A Face To Die For’. But she finally appeared in the big screen in movies like ‘Basketball’ and ‘Undercover Angels’, although these films did not generate huge public interest.

The Yasmine Bleeth Principle has been in the news recently. What’s that, you ask? Allow me to explain.

Years ago, Yasmine Bleeth was the hottest chick on the planet, or at least the best looking on Baywatch as the discerning eye favored her over Pamela Anderson. (And looking back, that still holds up.)

Yasmine had a huge money offer from Playboy to pose in its magazine, but she always turned them down. Admirable? Sure. But still a mistake. Fast forward a couple of years, and she was busted for drugs and her mug shot on The Smoking Gun made her a punchline. Now we can debate if she would have squandered that Playboy money to fuel her coke habit or if Richard Grieco would have blown it on hookers, but it also serves as a warning to strike while the iron is hot. (And for all her morals, Yasmine still appeared in the hilarious-yet-crude BASEketball. And did I mention that she starred in Baywatch.)

The most recent victim is Pat Hill, who refused big-time offers after he made Fresno State relevant. Hill was fired this week. The lesson here, stay in school. Oh, and strike while the iron is hot. You never know when it’s your time; make the most of it.

Hopefully Hill’s end won’t be as sad as Yasmine’s who, while she refused to pose for Playboy, she’s now making money by flashing kids for $5 a shot down behind Dukes at the Huntington Beach Pier.
