Joseph Tsai is the vice chairman of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group. The Taiwan-born finance expert gave up an investment job in Hong Kong to join Alibaba in 1999 as part of the founding group. He became the company’s executive vice chairman in May 2013.
