John Brown – Billionaire

John Brown ran Stryker Corp., a medical device and software company, for 32 years before retiring as chairman in 2009. The company had $11.3 billion in sales in 2016 and continues to introduce new technologies like robotic-arm assisted systems to help doctors perform joint replacement surgery. Brown owns slightly more than 5% of Stryker. He also sits on the board of St. Jude Medical, and runs 4 miles a day in retirement.
