The lead-off single from his self-titled debut album, “Austin” spent five weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. ‘Tis the season of giving and Blake Shelton is ready to do his part. Partnering up with Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean and others, the Oklahoma native is leading the charge for the Jingle All The Broadway project to raise money for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
“In their moments of greatest need, families find Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt a place of compassion, a place of discovery,” Shelton shared in a video statement. “That’s why Ole Red Nashville is committing to giving back this holiday season to support those babies fighting for their next breath.”
The five-week initiative will serve as a fundraiser for the local Nashville hospital. A number of Broadway’s honky tonks will donate a portion of their sales back to the cause.

Blake Shelton will bring his “Country Music Freaks Tour” to CenturyLink Center in Bossier City on March 3. Sarepta native Trace Adkins, who recently was inducted in the Walk of Stars, will be Shelton’s special guest, along with Brett Eldredge, and Carly Pearce.
Tickets go on sale at noon Nov. 10 at the CenturyLink Center box office and all Ticketmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com or by phone at (800) 745-3000. An online exclusive pre-sale will be offered from 10 a.m. Nov. 8 until 10 p.m. Nov. 9. The pre-sale code is: BSVENUE.
“The main thing that I look forward to these days, and honestly I always have, is my live performances,” Shelton said in a news release. “And even though I’m the first to say that too much time on the road can wear me down, too much time away from the road can break my heart. It’s been a while and I cannot wait to get out there! I think this is going to be my greatest tour yet.”
Shelton’s latest project, Texhoma Shore, drops Friday. In addition to the new album and tour, Shelton is continuing his role as a judge on NBC’s “TheVoice.”
